The Companion Line is a nonprofit senior defense project
providing cash allotments, benefit comparisons, items of comfort, home
safety and legal clarification for seniors.
At 73 million individuals, or 23% of the population, seniors are the
nation's largest and fastest
growing age group. California has more seniors than any other state -
three million and growing. This is a nationwide situation that
continues to escalate.
The Companion Line renders service to seniors who are being victimized by unscrupulous individuals or living in an unacceptable situation.
The
capital and items of comfort are generated from donations
and distributed directly through personal contact with seniors at their
residence, on the street or through the mail.
All programs are coordinated by Project Director Timothy Nicely,
who's experience and education in humanitarian affairs has earned him
awards from the March of Dimes and YMCA, as well as commendations for
the City of Los Angeles.
